On Tuesday, Russia launched an attack on infrastructure in the Odesa region, damaging a civilian ship flying the Panamanian flag, loaded with grain, and facilities in the 'Pivdennyi' and 'Chernomorsk' ports. Deputy Prime Minister Oleksi Kuleba reported that, following the attack, one person was injured. Additionally, two civilian ships, Emmakris III and Captain Karam, which were heading to a Ukrainian port to load wheat, were hit.

Kuleba emphasized that these attacks endanger the lives of civilians and affect global food security. Despite the attacks, the ports continued to operate, being essential for Ukraine's foreign trade. The maritime conflict between Ukraine and Russia has intensified, with both sides attacking ships in the Black Sea, and Russia has increased attacks on Odesa and port infrastructure.
