Russia and China have begun a new joint naval patrol mission in the Sea of Japan, strengthening military cooperation and protecting economic interests.

A joint naval patrol mission has been launched by Russia and China in the Sea of Japan, with the aims of strengthening military cooperation and maintaining stability in the region. The detachment includes ships from both countries, such as the Chinese destroyer Shaoxing and the Russian anti-submarine vessel Admiral Tribuț. This comes after the Maritime Interaction-2025 naval exercises Maritime Interaction-2025 and continues an annual routine of military collaboration started in 2021.
