The Russian Defense Ministry has announced that Russian forces have conducted exercises in the Baltic Sea, focusing on detecting and capturing underwater sabotage as well as using FPV drones to destroy enemy craft. The exercises were part of an assessment of submarine defense units. The maneuvers come after US President Donald Trump's statements on the deployment of nuclear submarines near Russia, and were preceded by similar exercises with the Chinese navy in the Sea of Japan.
