The Zapad-2025 joint military exercises, planned for September, will involve training in the use of nuclear weapons and hypersonic missiles. Belarusian Defense Minister Viktor Jrenin has underlined the strategic importance of these exercises in deterring NATO's activities. Belarus is also committed to transparency and peace, but is prepared for any challenge. The exercises will involve at least 13,000 Belarusian soldiers and unspecified Russian forces.
