On Saturday evening, Moscow was the target of a drone attack, and Russian authorities activated air defense systems. According to official statements, 19 drones were shot down in the Moscow region, with no casualties or significant damage reported.
Mayor Sergei Sobyanin confirmed on social media that Russian forces intercepted the drones and that response teams were sent to the locations where debris fell. Following the incident, air traffic was disrupted, and four airports in Moscow and the surrounding regions were temporarily closed. The Russian Ministry of Defense stated that, in total, 104 drones were shot down in new regions of Russia and in occupied Crimea, with most interceptions occurring in the Bryansk region.
So far, there are no independent confirmations regarding the scale of the attack or the origin of the drones, and Ukrainian authorities have not commented on the incident. At the same time, Ukraine's Emergency Service reported that three people were injured in the Kharkiv region due to Russian drone attacks.
