Rumen Radev, the leader of the "Progressive Bulgaria" party, claimed victory at the end of the voting day, stating that his party has "overcome apathy" and obtained a mandate for change. He emphasized that the voter turnout reflects a renewed civic commitment, but warned that distrust in Bulgarian politics remains high.

According to the partial vote count, "Progressive Bulgaria" leads with 44.4%, securing an estimated majority of over 130 seats in the National Assembly. Other parties, such as GERB–SDS, PP–DB, DPS, and Vazrazhdane, received lower percentages, and several formations remained below the electoral threshold. Radev thanked the voters and the electoral commissions for their efforts in combating vote buying. The voter turnout is estimated between 46% and 48%, and the final official results are awaited.
