In the first half of 2025, trade exchanges between Romania and Germany reached 21.1 billion euros, down 1.9% compared to the previous year. Romanian exports were 9.7 billion euros, down 4.7%, while imports from Germany stagnated. Romania dropped to 17th place in the ranking of Germany's trading partners. The director of AHK Romania, Sebastian Metz, emphasizes the negative impact of turnover taxation on companies and the need for favorable fiscal measures to stimulate economic growth.
