The five countries voiced their dissatisfaction at the EU Agriculture Council meeting, arguing that the new DCFTA-based agreement could destabilize European agricultural markets. EU agriculture commissioner Christophe Hansen confirmed talks on revising the agreement, which has been delayed because of the war in Ukraine. The updated agreement was recently negotiated with the aim of replacing the expired visa-free trade regime.
