More than 25,000 residents have been urgently evacuated from a city in eastern Pakistan due to severe flooding in the Punjab province.

The floods in Punjab have affected over 4.1 million people, causing the death of at least 56 individuals since the end of August. Rescue operations have urgently begun in Jalalpur Pirwala, where 25,000 residents have been moved to safer areas. Displaced families are receiving aid, and evacuations are being accelerated by authorities, supported by law enforcement.
