A rehearsal for the May 9 parade in Moscow was abruptly interrupted after air raid alerts were issued, forcing participants to quickly retreat to shelters. The event took place under strict security measures, in the context of tensions generated by the Russia-Ukraine conflict, with Rosgvardia units deployed in the city center and the strengthening of air defense systems. Unlike previous years, the rehearsal did not include military equipment, with only the formations of the participants being practiced. The incident was triggered by air raid alerts in several regions of Russia, and fears of possible Ukrainian drone attacks have increased, with President Zelensky confirming that such attacks could target the parade. Additionally, events dedicated to Victory Day were canceled in Crimea for security reasons.
