The police in Thailand declared to the BBC that the death toll from a train accident could reach 22. So far, rescue teams have recovered 12 bodies, and seven other people, who were traveling in a car that caught fire, are missing and feared dead. The incident occurred around 09:00 local time (02:00 GMT) during construction work for an express train line. Thatchapon Chinnawong, police superintendent of Nakhon Ratchasima, stated that a construction crane collapsed onto a moving train departing from Bangkok.
