<p>The Qatari embassy in Syria will resume operations after the fall of Bashar al-Assad's regime. Qatar had closed its diplomatic mission in Damascus and recalled its ambassador in 2011. The decision to resume its activities comes after the fall of Assad's regime following the actions of a coalition of Islamist rebels.
