The Ministry of Defense of Qatar announced that it shot down two Iranian Su-24 bombers on Monday, marking the first time a country has downed Iranian aircraft since the beginning of the conflict. This incident represents a significant escalation of tensions in the Middle East. Additionally, officials in Qatar stated that the military intercepted seven ballistic missiles with the help of air defense and destroyed five Iranian drones through the Air and Naval Forces. The Ministry of Defense emphasized that the armed forces of Qatar have full capabilities to protect national sovereignty and respond firmly to external threats.

Furthermore, QatarEnergy announced the halt of liquefied natural gas production following an Iranian attack on the facility in Ras Laffan, considering that Qatar is one of the largest LNG exporters in the world.
