Russia condemned the attacks by American and Israeli forces on Iran, considering them acts of unprovoked aggression against a sovereign state. Following these attacks, Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov had a conversation with his Iranian counterpart, Abas Araqchi, discussing the measures Iran is taking to respond to the aggression. Lavrov reiterated Russia's willingness to contribute to a peaceful resolution of the conflict, including within the framework of the UN. Additionally, recently, Ali Larijani, the secretary of Iran's Supreme National Security Council, made a surprise visit to Moscow, meeting with Putin.
