Vladimir Putin accuses Ukraine of "state terrorism" after Volodymyr Zelensky's warning regarding Russia's airspace: "You don't negotiate with terrorists"

At the Shanghai Cooperation Organization summit in Bishkek (SCO), Russian leader Vladimir Putin reacted to the warning from Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky, who stated that Russia's airspace is becoming increasingly dangerous for civil aviation due to Ukrainian drones.

Putin characterized Zelensky's statements as an attempt at "state terrorism" and emphasized that Russia will respond to any potential tragedies. Zelensky sent a video message warning airlines that the skies over Russia are now a risk for civil aviation, but also offered the possibility to "clear" Russia's skies of drones, in the interest of international negotiations. Putin stated that Russia is not ready for direct negotiations with the leadership in Kiev, accusing it of terrorism, but is open to discussions through intermediaries.
