The rallies in Tel Aviv and other cities were led by Eli Sharabi, a former hostage, who emphasized the urgency of freeing the 50 hostages, 20 of whom may still be alive. Talks between Israel and Hamas for a 60-day truce have stalled, and protesters accuse the Netanyahu government of procrastination, saying it is prioritizing its own political survival over the hostages' release.
