On Saturday, thousands of people gathered in the Town Hall Square in Copenhagen to protest against Donald Trump's territorial ambitions, who continues to express his desire to take over Greenland. The protesters, carrying Greenlandic and Danish flags, chanted the name of Greenland in Greenlandic and displayed signs with ironic messages, such as "Make America Go Away."

The protests are organized by the Uagut movement, which promotes the right of the Greenlandic people to self-determination, emphasizing that Denmark cannot defend Greenland. Trump has stated that he intends to gain control over the island to counteract the influence of Russia and China in the Arctic, and his advisors have reaffirmed this position, arguing that Denmark is a small country that cannot support Greenland. Other demonstrations are planned in cities such as Aarhus, Aalborg, and Odense.
