The funeral ceremony for Pope Francis will take place on Saturday in St. Peter's Square, with more than 130 delegations and millions of viewers expected. The Pope died on April 21 from a stroke after a 12-year papacy. His coffin was displayed at St. Peter's Basilica, where hundreds of thousands of people came to say goodbye. In his will, the pope asked to be buried at the Basilica of St. Mary the Great, marking a break with tradition. The conclave to choose his successor will take place 15-20 days after the funeral.
