Poland does not intend to quickly join the eurozone, having an economic growth superior to the majority of countries in the eurozone.

The Polish Minister of Finance, Andrzej Domański, stated that the country is not in a hurry to adopt the euro, emphasizing that the Polish economy is performing better than most countries in the eurozone. He mentioned that there is sufficient data and arguments to justify maintaining the Polish zloty.

In contrast, Bulgaria, which recently switched to the euro, is facing a sharp increase in prices, with significant hikes in the first days following the adoption of the single currency. Basic products, such as bread, have seen price increases of up to 33%, and online stores have experienced technical errors that led to double billing. Although legislation prohibits unjustified price increases, controls are insufficient, and citizens bear the consequences.
