Poland has adopted new rules for the protection and evacuation of the population in the event of war, including measures for transportation and shelter.

The new regulations, in force from Thursday, derive from the law on civil protection and include eight key points, such as evacuation and public information. Local governments will organize evacuation routes, prioritizing vulnerable people. The €2.5 billion budget will provide shelters for 1.5 million people, equipped with essential resources. An art evacuation plan will also be put in place in case of a Russian invasion.
