Radoslaw Sikorski has sharply criticized Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orbán, saying he has turned Hungary into the poorest country in the European Union and, after boycotting the EU in coordination with Vladimir Putin, is now threatening to withdraw from the bloc. The statements come amid a diplomatic crisis, with Poland recalling its ambassador from Budapest in reaction to Hungary's decisions to grant political asylum to a former official accused of corruption.
