Personal collection items of Marilyn Monroe, auctioned on June 1

A collection of personal items that belonged to actress Marilyn Monroe will be auctioned by Heritage Auctions, giving the public access to lesser-known details from the Hollywood star's life.

Among the items for sale are jewelry, clothing pieces, private letters, handwritten notes, poems, and paintings.

The auction also includes documents that have not been presented to the public until now, some referring to the actress's romantic relationships, the loss of a pregnancy, and her reflections on death. Additionally, letters exchanged with her former husband, playwright Arthur Miller, as well as a letter from her psychiatrist about the star's last days will be displayed.
