An An-24 passenger airplane, operated by Angara Airlines, lost contact with air traffic control in the Amur region, Russia, with 43 passengers and 6 crew on board. Flying on the Habarovsk-Blagoveshchcensk-Tynda route, the aircraft disappeared from radar a few kilometers from Tynda airport. The Ministry of Emergency Situations confirmed the incident and dispatched rescue teams to search for the plane, which had not reported any problems before its disappearance.
