The monsoon season in Pakistan has had a devastating impact, causing the deaths of 32 people, 19 of them in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, including eight children. Flash floods and roof collapses were the main causes of these deaths. In Punjab province, another 13 people died due to extreme weather conditions. In addition, 56 houses were damaged and six were completely destroyed. Meteorologists warn that the risk of heavy rain and flooding will continue.
