On Saturday 9 August, over 150 supporters of Palestine Action were arrested during a demonstration outside the British Parliament, despite a government ban. The participants, who carried pro-Palestinian messages, were warned by police of the criminal consequences of their actions. Palestine Action has been classed as a 'terrorist organization' in the UK, and protests continue to challenge this decision. To date, the authorities have made over 200 arrests in connection with the group.
