Over 100 athletes have sent a letter to Coca-Cola and Pepsi asking them to stop selling single-use plastic bottles.

Athletes, including 22 who will compete in the 2024 Paris Olympic and Paralympic Games, are calling on the two companies to promote reusable products when sponsoring sporting events. The initiative comes as Coca-Cola is considered the world's biggest plastic polluter.
