Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban has stressed the need for a common defense system in central Europe to cope with migration, warning of possible waves of migrants from Africa. He proposed strengthening ties with countries along the Balkan migration route and underlined the importance of an alliance between different Christian denominations to preserve European values and traditions. Orban rejected the idea of an immediate Russian threat to the region, but recognized the risks for Ukraine.
