The Austrian group OMV terminated the contract of an executive due to his meetings with a Russian diplomat, suspected of ties to the FSB. Austria's Security and Intelligence Directorate monitored the employee for several months. The Foreign Ministry summoned a Russian diplomat, asking him to waive diplomatic immunity, otherwise he risks being declared persona non grata. The OMV employee had access to sensitive information, considering the collaboration with Abu Dhabi National Oil Company.
