Former Brexit backer Nigel Farage has unveiled a controversial plan for the mass deportation of migrants arriving in the UK across the English Channel. Farage proposed withdrawing from the European Convention on Human Rights and signing agreements with countries of origin to repatriate illegal migrants. He stressed that his priority is the safety of British citizens in the context of recent migration protests. The plan envisages the creation of detention centers and the operation of deportation flights to reduce the number of asylum seekers accepted.
