The President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelensky, and American negotiators are meeting on Monday in Berlin, after five hours of intense discussions on Sunday. Ukraine hopes to convince Washington that a ceasefire must be achieved without territorial concessions to Russia. American envoy Steve Witkoff mentioned progress in discussions about the 20-point peace plan and other economic topics. A new round of negotiations is scheduled for Monday morning, and Zelensky's advisor, Dmytro Litvin, confirmed the continuation of talks. Additionally, European leaders will meet on Monday evening in Berlin to coordinate their positions, considering fears that American President Donald Trump might abandon Ukraine, leaving Europe excluded from security discussions, in the context of the perceived threat from the Kremlin.
