Negotiations between American and Ukrainian officials for a possible peace agreement with Russia have concluded in Miami, without significant progress, according to Ukrainian officials. The meeting took place between the U.S. special envoy, Steve Witkoff, and Ukrainian officials, Rustem Umerov and Andriy Hnatov. Ukraine's ambassador to the U.S., Olga Stefanishina, mentioned that there remain difficult issues related to territory and security guarantees. Ukraine insists on credible guarantees and does not wish to cede territory to Russia. President Zelensky had a constructive conversation with Witkoff and Kushner, discussing the next steps in negotiations. Additionally, a meeting between Zelensky and the leaders of France, Great Britain, and Germany is planned to discuss the situation and ongoing negotiations.
