Speaking at the NATO Parliamentary Assembly meeting in Dayton, Mark Rutte said that member states are expected to set a defense spending target of 5% of GDP at the June summit in The Hague. Rutte said that a considerable part of this spending, well above 3%, will be directed towards military defense, while the rest will cover related areas such as infrastructure and cyber security.
