Rutte said Ukraine urgently needs support, especially in ammunition and air defense, while the Pentagon has suspended arms deliveries because of low stocks. The decision was criticized as it could diminish Ukraine's ability to withstand Russian attacks. Rutte emphasized the importance of US aid, saying European security is intertwined with that of the US. He also emphasized European commitments to support Ukraine with significant military assistance.
