NASA has announced the cancellation of the first spacewalk scheduled for Thursday in 2026, due to an unspecified medical issue of an astronaut. Although the affected astronaut is now stable, the space agency stated that it is evaluating all options, including a possible early return of the crew from the International Space Station (ISS). Cheryl Warner, NASA's spokesperson, emphasized that the safety of missions is the agency's top priority. The international team, consisting of members from the USA, Japan, and Russia, has been aboard the ISS since August, after being launched from Florida.
