National Fathers' Day, celebrated on the last Sunday in June, was officially adopted by the Moldovan Parliament with the support of 70 MPs. The aim of the holiday is to recognize and promote the role of fathers in the family and children's education by organizing educational and cultural events. The initiative, proposed by MEPs from the Action and Solidarity Party, aims to change traditional mentalities and encourage active fatherhood. This official recognition will enable authorities to support campaigns dedicated to the role of fathers in society, promoting a positive image of responsible fatherhood.
