In Afghanistan, mobile phone and internet services were restarted approximately 48 hours after being abruptly suspended, according to local sources. The companies Roshan and Etisalat resumed their operations, and Taliban officials mentioned technical reasons for the interruption. This suspension caused chaos, affecting commerce, financial transfers, and access to education for women. The Taliban recently imposed harsh restrictions, citing moral reasons for cutting connections in certain areas.
