On Miner's Day, Bulgarian Energy Minister Zhecho Stankov pledged financial measures to help the mining sector cope with high electricity prices. He recalled the launch of a long-term strategy for the development of the sector, which extends until 2050, and emphasized the need to continue its development. Stankov stressed the importance of digitalization, but also of people as the main asset of the industry, noting that miners contribute significantly to the country's energy security.
