Nicușor Dan and the coalition leaders are meeting today at the Cotroceni Palace, against the backdrop of increasing tensions between the governing parties.

President Nicușor Dan invited coalition leaders for discussions to address the reform in public administration, which has generated tensions. Kelemen Hunor, the leader of UDMR, confirmed the meeting and emphasized the need for clarifications regarding layoffs in local and central administration. He mentioned that it will take two to three weeks to analyze the correct figures, highlighting the confusions related to the percentages of layoffs being circulated. Additionally, Prime Minister Ilie Bolojan has repeatedly threatened to resign.
