Turkish President Tayyip Erdogan has announced a 30% increase in the net monthly minimum wage by 2025.

Turkey's net monthly minimum wage will be 22,104 Turkish lira (630.36 USD) in 2025, marking a 30% increase from 2024. Around 9 million workers will benefit from the increase, which is expected to accelerate inflation. According to Reuters calculations, a 25% wage hike could increase annual inflation by 1.5 to 5 percentage points.
