15 people, including 7 minors, died following the crash of a military helicopter in Peru

Following the crash of a military Mi-17 helicopter in Peru, 15 people died, of which 7 were minors. The helicopter disappeared on Sunday in the Arequipa region, and the Peruvian air force announced on Monday that they had located the wreckage of the aircraft.

Radio contact with the helicopter was lost after it took off from the city of Pisco, heading to Chala, located about 1,100 km south of the capital Lima.
