<p>Giorgia Meloni, Italy's prime minister, will meet with US President Donald Trump on April 17 to discuss the 25% import tariffs on steel, aluminum and cars, as well as the 20% tariffs on other goods imposed by the US. Meloni backs the European Commission's proposal to implement a 'zero for zero' tariff deal to avoid a trade war.
