The third generation of the Mazda CX-5 SUV was launched four months after its world premiere, featuring increased dimensions from 4.55 meters to 4.69 meters and a wheelbase extended by 7 millimeters, which improves stability and dynamics. The interior has been redesigned, including higher quality materials and a new infotainment system with 12.9-inch or 15.6-inch screens. The available engine is the e-SkyActiv G 141 2.5-liter, revised with mild-hybrid technology, having a consumption of 7 liters/100 km and emissions of 157 grams/km. The starting price for customers in Romania is 32,690 euros, and the CX-5 competes with models such as the VW Tiguan and Ford Kuga. Although it was the best-selling Mazda model in Europe in 2024, in 2025 it was surpassed by other models, with only 15,000 units sold in the first 9 months. The CX-5 was first launched in 2012, integrating Kodo design and Skyactiv technology.
