During an official visit to India, American Secretary of State Marco Rubio announced that discussions for an agreement with Iran continue, despite recent American attacks on missile bases in the south of the country.

Rubio mentioned that the discussions took place in Qatar and that they focus on the precise wording of the initial text, which could take a few days. President Donald Trump expressed his desire to reach an agreement, emphasizing that either an agreement will be reached or there will be none. Rubio also stated that the Strait of Hormuz will reopen, despite the attacks that have raised doubts about the possibility of a peace agreement.
