A survey conducted by MRB for the television station Open shows significant support for Laura Kövesi in Greece, with the majority of respondents believing that the European Prosecutor's Office is fulfilling its duties impartially. 48% of participants state that the institution led by Kövesi acts correctly, while 22% perceive her actions as opportunistic.
The survey comes after the indictment of leaders of the ruling party, New Democracy, in the scandal of embezzling European funds. Additionally, 36% of respondents believe that the OPEKEPE scandal will influence their vote in the upcoming elections.
Regarding a possible third term for Kyriakos Mitsotakis, 57.8% of Greeks want a political change. Although New Democracy remains at the top of the voting intention with 22.5%, the difference compared to PASOK is significant, suggesting a general dissatisfaction with the current leadership.
