The Australian company Strickland Metals has identified a significant gold deposit at the 'Rogozna' project, with a mineralization of 277.3 meters and an average grade of 1.3 grams per tonne. The project covers 184 km² and has estimated resources of 7.4 million ounces of gold equivalent. Strickland acquired the project in July 2024 and received an A$5 million investment from Zijin Mining Group to accelerate exploration. Further appraisals are expected in 2025.
