The President of the Republic of Moldova, Maia Sandu, is visiting the UK to strengthen bilateral relations and discuss British support for Moldova.

Maia Sandu meets with King Charles III and high-ranking British officials to deepen relations between Moldova and the UK. The visit comes ahead of legislative elections important for Moldova's pro-Western orientation and aims to cooperate in areas such as economic development, rule of law and national security. Sandu will discuss expanding Moldovan exports and support for democratic institutions, as well as meetings with the Moldovan diaspora in Northampton.
