Maduro's son calls for unity after his father was captured by the USA

Nicolas Maduro Guerra, deputy and son of Venezuelan leader Nicolas Maduro, called for maximum unity within the regime after his father was captured by the United States during a military operation. In an audio message, he stated that history will reveal who the traitors are and called for support around the 'political-military command', recognizing Maduro senior as the 'authentic' president of Venezuela.

Maduro Guerra stated that his father calls him to fight and encourages him to remain mobilized. The military operation carried out by the U.S. included bombings in Caracas and other areas, causing casualties, and Maduro and his partner, Cilia Flores, were captured and will be tried for narco-terrorism. Following the attack, the Supreme Court of Venezuela appointed Vice President Delcy Rodriguez as interim president.
