The Renaissance Party, led by Emmanuel Macron, has filed a lawsuit against Marine Le Pen, the candidate of the National Assembly, for using the slogan 'For France, Renaissance'. Macron's party claims that this slogan represents an 'unauthorized appropriation' of its political identity and trademarks.

Le Pen, who was recently acquitted of the charge of embezzling funds from the European Parliament, has officially launched her candidacy, presenting a poster and a website with the new slogan. The Renaissance Party emphasized that its 'Renaissance' identity cannot be used illegally to create confusion among voters.

Le Pen stated that her slogan reflects the desire to 'renaissance' French institutions. The presidential elections in France are scheduled for April 18, 2027, and Macron cannot run for a third consecutive term.
