<p>Pope Francis has died at the age of 88 from a stroke after a prolonged hospitalization. French President Emmanuel Macron confirmed he will attend the funeral, which will bring together leaders from around the world. The date and time of the funeral Mass will be set by the Congregation of Cardinals, and the coffin will be displayed at St. Peter's Basilica for tributes. The Pope wanted to be buried in the Basilica of Santa Maria Maggiore, a first after three centuries.
