The President of Belarus, Aleksandr Lukashenko, stated that his country has no plans to enter into war against Ukraine, following concerns expressed by Ukrainian authorities. Lukashenko emphasized that Belarus will only get involved in the conflict in the event of aggression against its territory. He also stated that there are no reasons for Belarus to participate in the war in Ukraine. In the context of joint exercises with Russia, which involve nuclear weaponry, Lukashenko expressed openness to dialogue with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky, proposing a meeting to discuss bilateral relations. At the same time, the Security Service of Ukraine announced the deployment of joint operations to enhance security at the border with Belarus, considering possible infiltrations of spies from the neighboring country.
